The process started by the selection of venues. Megan and Jordan selected UTC’s Patten Chapel for their ceremony and the fabulous Hunter Museum of American Art for their reception. The museum offer beautiful modern lines that frames million dollar views of the river. We utilized bright pink, yellow, and orange to add a bright Spring feel to the museum. We brought in special Tennessee touches for the couple. All Occasions Party Rental provided the orange and white checkered dance floor, in addition, to a perfect clear tent and party furniture. Luma Designs provided custom lighting and draping to set the mood and create a fun party atmosphere.

To pay homage to the couple’s proposal in London, we lined up a white British taxi and Chattanooga’s Double Decker Bus for transportation. Many special touch customized the event for the couple.

Guests were greeted at the Hunter Museum of American Art with a specialty drink, “Tennessee Summer Sunset”, and a southern favorite mini chicken and waffles masterfully created by Impressions Catering.

Dinner was held in the foyer which was decorated with beautiful florals by Humphreys Flowers, fruitwood chiavari chairs, and custom GOGO Damask lighting by Luma Designs.

The party really started on the tented terrace deck. Live Revival kicked off the party with excellent tunes. Here is the special part. Even without my knowing, the groom had been working with the band to surprise his new bride by serenading her with a popular Michael Buble song. I have never had a groom sing to his bride before it was so special to share this experience!!!!

Guests got a surprise late night snack of Sonic breakfast burritos and tots delivered by Sonic car hops on skates. There to capture all of these wonderful moments was Christine LeGrand Photography and Limestone Films! Love these two! They are masters at their art! Check them out!

We keep things simple with beautiful white and ivory flowers. The bride’s bouquet was a brooch bouquet hand created by the bride from family hierlooms. Wine barrel tables offered a unique touch to the decor. While touches of wood rings and birch covered pots completed the elegant, yet rustic look. As the sun set our favorite DJ Terry D cranked up the tunes and the guests danced the night away. Inbetween dancing guests enjoyed a old-fashioned photo booth designed by Fosters Photos. And our favorite ladies from Bloom Photography were there to capture every wonderful moment.

Veo’s Tip: Tuxs for grooms and groomsmen are quickly becoming a thing of the past. Talk with your groom. Consider letting him choose the suit, shirt, or if it fits even jeans for wedding day. Afterall it is his wedding day too! Ladies, we bet you will earn some serious brownie points with this move!

Veo’s Tip: Consider a no traditional guest book. Bree and Jimmy had guests sign and offer blessings, wishes, and/or words of advice on paper hearts. The bride plans to use the hearts to create a piece of artwork for their new home together!

It was a perfect fall wedding in one of the most gorgeous locations. The leaves just started turning that week. DeBarge Vineyards offers a beautiful, rustic, handcrafted pavilion over looking acres vineyards. Lots of special touches made the bride and groom’s day special and unique. A combination of round and rectangle tables with rich mahogany chiavari chairs were adorned with burlap runners and Veo Weddings & Events signature flower arrangements including wine colored flowers and cascading white and red grape bunches. In fitting with the venue, we affixed places cards and the couple’s engagement pictures to a stack of hay bales with mini cloth pins. Impressions Catering created a perfect Italian inspired menu to match the vineyards wine selections. The Bluff View Bakery finished the meal with Italian cream cake and tiramisu. Later the party really started under and amber lit tent designed by Soundforce. The fabulous Grapevine Band keep the dance floor full the rest of the evening. The couple made a memorable exit through sparklers and rows of luminaries. Liz Power Photography captured each and every unforgettable moment with artistic elegance.
